On April 15-17, 2019 the X-th International Scientific and Practical Conference «Actual Problems of Higher Education: Theoretical and Methodological and Applied Aspects» was held at Bar Humanitarian and Pedagogical College named after Mykhailo Hrushevsky. Prof. Semenog O.M., postgraduate student Ponomarenko N.P. took part in the professorial hours, plenary and sectional events of the conference.
On April 15, 2019 professor Semenog O.M., Head of the Department of Ukrainian Language and Literature, Ponomarenko N.P., a postgraduate student of the Department of Ukrainian Language and Literature, conducted a scientific and methodological seminar «Formation of the Foundations of the Academic Culture of the Researcher in the Dimensions of Pedagogical Interaction» for the college students and teachers, heads of scientific associations, coursework, diploma and bachelor’s works (responsible Slobodyanyuk L.M.).
Presentation of the speech
The following issues were considered:
- The notion of «academic culture», «academic integrity», «academic text», «academic discourse», «academic literacy».
- Scientific language culture of the researcher: text, genre, stylistic, terminology, bibliographic, translation culture; culture of scientific mentoring.
- Formation of the basics of academic culture in the terms of the project «Innovation University and Leadership».
- Academic culture of the researcher as a factor of national innovation safety.
The participants of the event came to the conclusion: work with gifted children who show interest in scientific studios, demonstrate various abilities, creative thinking, independent search for solutions to actual tasks, takes place more effectively, providing the close interaction and complementarity of the secondary school, MAN and higher educational institution. There is a need for linguistic and methodological departments of higher pedagogical educational institutions to enrich the study courses or special seminars with modules, topics on the methodology of working with philologically gifted youth, in particular, on the methodology of guidance of research activities of the pupils.
