On April 25-26, 2019 the plenary and sectional sessions of the III International Scientific and Practical Conference for Students and Young Scientists «European University: Image, Mobility and Social Perspectives» was held in Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko. The conference is dedicated to the 95-th anniversary of Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko and the 30-th anniversary of Jean Monnet Programs.
The most important issues discussed at the conference are: the Jean Monnet programs in the development of the European University, European integration in higher education: experience, current realities and prospects of development; the peculiarities of the personal realization of modern students, the specifics of the interaction of the system: university administration-student self-management - pedagogical staff, the interconnection of social and academic mobility, the technology of the formation of the image of the university: the analysis of European and national experience, political and civil activism of modern youth.
The conference was attended by 246 people, including: students – 193 students, post-graduate students – 26, candidates of science – 19, doctors of science, professors – 7. The presentations of the participants from different universities and scientific institutions of Ukraine were offered, namely: Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko; Sumy National Agrarian University; Drogobych State University; Institute of Pedagogics of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; Institute of Pedagogical Education and Adult Education of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; Kiev Boris Grinchenko University; Uman State Pedagogical University named after P.Tychyna; Southern Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushinsky; National Pedagogical University named after M.P. Drahomanov. The conference was also attended by the representatives from different countries of the world (8 countries), namely: the People’s Republic of China; Ecuador; Republic of Turkmenistan; Republic of Tajikistan; Republic of Uzbekistan; the Kingdom of Jordan; Germany; Switzerland.
