II International Scientific and Practical Conference of Higher Educational Institutions and Young Scientists was held on May 16-17, 2019 at Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A. S. Makarenko. The organizers are the research laboratory «Academic Culture of the Researcher» (headed by Prof. Semenog O. M.), the chair of Pedagogy (Prof. Sbruiva A.A., the chair of Informatics (prof . Semenikhina O.V.). The conference is devoted to the 95-th anniversary of Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A. S. Makarenko and the 30-th anniversary of the programs of Jean Monnet. The conference was held within the Erasmus + project.
The purpose of the event: an exchange of information/pedagogical experience in the aspect of formation of the academic culture of the researcher in the educational space; popularization of the results of scientific researches of the students, masters, postgraduates, doctoral students, students of Malay Academy of Sciences, research staff; presentation of scientific and methodological achievements of teacher-researchers; encouraging the young people to carry out scientific research on the basis of academic integrity, promoting the implementation of standards for academic writing and publication ethics.
The co-organizers of the conference: UNESCO Chair «Continuing Professional Education of the XXI Century»; The Council of Young Scientists at the Institute of Pedagogical Education and Adult Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; University named after Konstantin Philosopher (Nitra, Slovakia). The conference was attended by a large number of еру participants from other countries, including Poland, China, Kazakhstan, Georgia, the United Kingdom, Morocco, Tajikistan, Romania and Ecuador.
On May 16 there was a plenary session, presentations of creative projects, a briefing of the leaders of scientific schools on «Academic integrity as the determinant of a successful scientific career of a young scientist», presentation of the module «Europeanization of doctoral studies in the field of education: interdisciplinary and inclusive approaches» of the Erasmus + Jean Monnet program and master classes.
At the final meeting the participants of the conference considered the main directions of the work of the next International Conference «ACADEMIC CULTURE OF THE RESEARCHER IN THE EDUCATIONAL SPACE», which will take place in 2020 at Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A. S. Makarenko, considered the decision to approve the activity of the research laboratory «Academic culture of the researcher of Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko», development and introduction of special (elective) courses in academic culture in the cultural and educational space of higher education. The articles of the conference participants, who passed the expertise, are included in the collection of the scientific-practical conference.
