On June 10 training classes on the doctoral seminar «Monitoring of the quality of research» began.
The aim of the doctoral seminar is to develop the research competence of the applicant PhD in the specialty «Educational, pedagogical sciences» based on the values of European academic culture.
Objectives of the seminar:
- development of a system of knowledge about the values of European academic culture, the construction of European research area and organizational foundations for the modernization of doctoral training in the context of the Bologna process;
- development of skills to substantiate the methodology of own research, systematization of historiography, selection and classification of the source base, application of the extrapolation method in the context of developing recommendations for the application of foreign/historical experience on the research issue;
- formation of skills for critical analysis of scientific texts in particular researches of colleagues-postgraduate students, conducting a constructive dialogue on problems that is the subject of a doctoral seminar;
- formation of readiness for constructive criticism perception of the academic community on their own research materials;
- formation of readiness to use professionally oriented communicative competences (linguistic, sociolinguistic and pragmatic) to ensure effective communication in the expert environment.
