On September 16, 2019 the members of Erasmus + Jean Monnet Module Program took part in the defence of the doctoral dissertation of the Polish citizen Dariusz Skalski, an adjunct of Academy of Physical Education named after M.Sc. Andzej Sniadecki in Gdansk (Department of Sport and Water Sports). The topic of the dissertation is «Concepts of physical education in the countries of the European Union». The scientific consultant of the dissertation is doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor Oksana Zabolotnaya, who is well-known for broad experience of cooperation with the scientists from the EU countries and has been successful in working with the EU Grants, including completing the Jean Monnet Module program. Leading Ukrainian scientists, doctors of pedagogical sciences, professors Anatoliy Kuzminsky, Andrey Suschenko and Elena Lokshina became the opponents of Dariusz Skalsky’s dissertation.

The meeting with colleagues on Jean Monnet Module Projects – Professors Oksana Zabolotnaya and Elena Lokshina (The project of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine has been successfully completed) became a helpful occasion for exchange of experience and further plans for Europeanization of doctoral programs in the field of educational theory
