October 10, 2019 the participants of Jean Monnet Module (Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko) joined a global flashmob dedicated to the EU Erasmus Program. Jean Monnet Module within the framework of the program «Europeanization of doctoral studies in the field of education: interdisciplinary and inclusive approaches», which aims at intensifying the European integration discourse, promoting the perfection of European integration studies, involvement in the study of European integration processes, started at higher education institution in September 2018..
While holding the flashmob the students acquainted with the history of the origin of the Erasmus program; with specific features of the EU Erasmus + Program activities for the period 2014-2020. Students’ attention was focused on the direction of the EU Erasmus + Jean Monnet Program, in particular, on the content of Jean Monnet Module, which started in Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko in 2018. The project participants outlined the purpose and main objectives of the module; characterized the educational and extracurricular activities within the project; emphasized on the results of the project implementation for the first academic year. The perspective directions of work for the next year have been determined: namely, teaching of training courses; writing and testing of training manuals for courses; conducting planned scientific events, further expansion of participation in national and international research organizations and networks, generalization of the first experience in scientific publications, dissemination of information on experience on the project site and social networks.
