On October 24-25, 2019 the Third All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference «Innovations in Education and Pedagogical Skills of the Language and Literature Teacher» was held in which famous Ukrainian scientists, methodists, teachers of Sumy and Sumy region took an active part.
Within the framework of the conference a roundtable meeting «Academic Culture of the Teacher-Researcher in the Context of the New Ukrainian School» (Prof. O. Semenog) was held. The presentation of the tasks and results of the module «Europeanization of doctoral studies in the field of education: interdisciplinary and inclusive approaches» was offered by the coordinator – Prof. A. Sbruieva.
At the round table discussion the issues of specificity of academic culture in the world, in the European region, in Ukraine, which are related to the processes of globalization, internationalization, fundamentalization, informatization, cross-culturalism, innovation; preparation of scientific and methodical publication as a means of certification of a teacher-researcher, academic writing and academic communication on the basis of academic integrity; culture of scientific and pedagogical mentoring, formation of specific qualities and European values of mentoring have been discussed.
