On September 10, 2020 the defence of the dissertation of the project participant I.E. Churychkanych for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty 011 Educational, pedagogical sciences (field of knowledge 01 – Education/Pedagogy) became an event of the scientific life of the university and the implementation of Jean Monnet Module project. The topic of the thesis is «Development of the theory of cognitive visualization in the pedagogical thought of Great Britain and the USA (the second half of the XX-th and the beginning of the XXI-st century)».
The dissertation of I.E. Churichkanych is a complex research within which the general scientific bases, preconditions, stages and the basic directions of the development of the theory of cognitive visualization in pedagogical thought of Great Britain and the USA of the second half of the XX-th and the beginning of the XXI-st century in order to substantiate the prospects of using the innovative potential of the studied theory in the process of modernization of higher education in Ukraine have been found out.
Participation in the project has allowed the applicant to gain a system of knowledge about the current trends in education in Ukraine, the European region and the world as a whole, to form a system of transversal competences, in particular, skills of critical thinking, group work, prevention and reduction of the impact of risks in professional activities, prognostic assessment of the development of institutions and education systems, etc.
