On December 8, 2020 the project participant Levenok Inna Serhiivna defended the dissertation on the topic «Formation of Ukrainian-language professional competence of foreign students of medical specialties of higher education institutions» in Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko. Under quarantine the meeting of the one-time specialized scientific council was held in a mixed format. The experts on the topic of the dissertation were members of the Chair of Pedagogy: Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Prof. Sbruieva A.A. and Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Prof. Ogienko O.I.

Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Prof. Semenikhina O.V. chaired the council meeting. The opponents of the dissertation were Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Prof. Zabolotna O.A. (Uman State Pedagogical University) and Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Prof. Melnychuk I.M. (Ternopil National Medical University). The defence of the dissertation was successful. The applicant showed a high level of theoretical and methodological readiness to solve the problems that became the subject of the study.
