On December 11, 2020 a methodological seminar of the Department of Pedagogy on the topic «TRANSFORMATION OF THE UNIVERSITY MISSION IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBAL CHALLENGES» dedicated to the 96-th anniversary of Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko and the 90-th anniversary of the Department of Pedagogy was held in the format of a ZOOM-conference.
The participants of the seminar discussed a wide range of pedagogical issues that are relevant in today’s global challenges. A group of stakeholders of the programme Educational and pedagogical sciences created on the social network Facebook under the title «Doctoral House in Education» was presented. The subject of active discussion was the innovative experience of teaching pedagogical disciplines in the conditions of distance learning presented by teachers. Within the framework of the seminar there was a demonstration of the materials and results of doctoral researches of the postgraduate students of the department.
The seminar was attended by the director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Kondratyuk Svitlana Mykolayivna.
