Professor Sbrueva A.A., the coordinator of the project Jean Monnet Module, took part at the kick-off meeting guided by the EU Agency for Education, Audiovisual and Culture Specialists in Brussels (Belgium) on November 29th 2018. At the beginning of the meeting, the participants were acquainted with to the statistics on the participation of scientists from different countries of the world in the Jean Monnet Program in 2018. It was mentioned that the Ukrainian participants were one of the most active and successful in the world (see diagrams in the photo). The team of the scientists of Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko was one of the 14 Ukrainian teams (out of 165 Ukrainian participants) who were selected to participate in the projects.
The goals and objectives of the program implementation were discussed at the meeting. The participants were given useful advice on the form of implementation of programs and their funding mechanisms. The program coordinators had the opportunity to present their plans to the general public from different countries, to discuss joint events, prospects of cooperation. After the end of the meeting, a group of Ukrainian participants visited a set of European Parliament structures.
