On February 14, 2019 a lecture from the course «Academic Culture of the Researcher: European and National Experiences» for postgraduate students in the direction of preparation 01 Education/Pedagogy was held.
The topic of the lecture was «Historical Sources of the Formation of the Researcher’s Academic Culture: Global, European and National Contexts» (2 hrs.).
Within the framework of the topic, the following issues were considered: historical sources of academic culture formation in higher education in Europe, Ukraine and in the world; models of the classical university and academic culture of the university; post-classical university and academic culture; European standards of academic culture. As a result the emphasis was placed on the fact that academic culture could not be moved or borrowed; it was a card and a competitive advantage of the university. The generalization of the experience of international, European organizations, national experience gives grounds to characterize the academic culture of the researcher as an integrative formation of the personality, which consists of axiological, motivational, ethical, narrative-digital, speech communicative, praxeological, behavioral and interactive components, each of which is characterized by a certain content and is manifested in the culture of mental work, ethical culture, the culture of academic reading and writing, academic communication, academic informatics, academic management, etc.
