On February 14, 2019 a lecture from the course «Academic Culture of the Researcher: European and National Experiences» for postgraduate students in the direction of preparation 01 Education/Pedagogy was held.

The topic of the lecture was «Academic Culture of the Researcher: Subject, Tasks, Values».

The classes focused on the goal of the course: the formation of academic culture values, in particular, the norms of academic integrity, the language and communicative competence of the academic leader’s personality, the system of knowledge on national and European academic ethics practices, academic mentoring, culture of academic communication; cognitive-discursive skills of operational processing and modeling of academic texts of various genres, including digital means; readiness to engage in effective dialogue in the process of presentation of materials and research results, in particular, within the framework of the scientific community, in particular within the framework of an interdisciplinary and/or international expert environment on the basis of subject-subject relations. The tasks of the lecture, as emphasized, were the formation of the academic culture values, in particular the norms of academic integrity; promoting a better understanding of the peculiarities of the development of the global, regional and national space of higher education. The following issues were considered: Europeanization as a factor in the development of higher education in Ukraine and the academic culture of the researcher; methods of studying academic culture; principles and values of academic culture; adaptation of the Ukrainian academic culture to the European one.
