    Doctoral seminar «Monitoring the Quality of Doctoral Research»

    On May 4, 2020 the classes on the intensive course «Monitoring the Quality of Doctoral Research» began. On the project website (see the Training Courses page) the schedule of the classes and its methodical support are published: the text of the lecture and methodical materials for workshops.

     

    The topic «Assessment of the quality of doctoral research in the field of comparative pedagogy» was discussed at the classes. The following issues were considered:

    • Relevance of the problems of comparative pedagogical research: normative documents that define it, contradictions, the solution of which is aimed at solving, and the typology of the source base.
    • Scientific apparatus of the research in the field of comparative pedagogy, its scientific novelty and practical significance.
    • Characteristics of the state of problem development in the comparative pedagogical research.
    • Contextual and comparative approaches in the comparative pedagogical research.
    • Periodization of the studied phenomenon in the comparative pedagogical research.
    • Normative foundations of functioning of the studied phenomenon.
    • Organizational foundations of functioning of the studied phenomenon.
    • Methodical foundations of functioning of the investigated phenomenon.
    • Characteristics of the possibilities of application of progressive experience in the field of realization of the studied phenomenon in Ukraine.
    • Conclusions of the doctoral research: logic, structure, style of formulation.

    The lecture was attended by the postgraduate students – project participants, supervisors, a representative of the scientific department of the university. The lecture took place under quarantine in the format of a ZOOM-conference.
