On February 27, 2020 within the framework of the training course CompHEd, a lecture on the topic «Innovative Approaches to Higher Education Management in Modern World» was held. The questions of consideration were the following:

• Innovative management in higher education as a scientific problem.
• Autonomization of higher education management in the EHEA. The ATHENA project. The results for Ukraine.
• Risk Management in modern higher education: an analysis of the British experience, recommendations for the national higher education system.
• Management of international activity of the university: American experience. Recommendations for the national higher education system.
• Fundraising as an innovative approach to higher education management: American experience. Recommendations for the national higher education system.

The subject of the discussion was a comparative analysis of the approaches to autonomization of the university activities in Ukraine and in the EHEA.
