On February 28, 2020 the final lecture on the topic «The Bologna process as a strategy for forming the European Higher Education Area: tasks, stages of development, dimensions, contradictions» was held.
The following issues were discussed during the lecture: the stages of development of European integration in the field of education in the pre-Bologna period; target priorities of the Bologna process; subjects of Bologna process; stages of the Bologna process development; principles for the formation of EHEA; dimension changes in the national higher education systems of the Bologna Club members in the context of reform; reforms of Ukraine’s higher education system in the context of the Bologna process.
The issues of the participants’ discussion of the project were the following: the positive aspects and risks of Ukraine’s higher education system entering the Bologna process from the perspective of all stakeholders; the threat of «brainwashing» as a result of the development of academic mobility in the higher education system of Ukraine; further perspectives on the development of the EHEA in the context of the EU crisis, in particular Brexit.
