On February 28, 2020 the lecture on the topic «Academic Culture of the Researcher: Subject, Objectives and Values» for postgraduate students in the field of study 01 Education/Pedagogy was held.

Such issues as Europeanization as a factor in the development of higher education in Ukraine; principles and values of academic culture; adaptation of Ukrainian academic culture to the European one were covered at the lecture. Among the objectives of the lecture, which were emphasized during the class are the formation of values of academic culture, in particular the norms of academic integrity; linguistic competence of the academic leader; promoting better understanding of the peculiarities of the development of global, regional and national higher education spaces. The question under discussion was about the formation of the cognitive-discursive skills in the operational processing and modeling of academic texts of different genres including digital media; willingness to engage in effective dialogues in the process of presenting materials and research findings, in particular with the scientific community.
