On February 28, 2020 the lecture on the topic «Academic Culture of the Researcher: European and National Experience» for postgraduate students in the field of study 01 Education/Pedagogy took place.

The title of the lecture is «Historical Origins of the Formation of the Researcher’s Academic Culture: Global, European and National Contexts». The following issues were characterized at the lecture: historical origins of the formation of academic culture in higher education in the world, Europe, Ukraine; models of classical university and academic culture of the university; post-classical university and academic culture; European standards of academic culture. Inna Levenok, an employee of the Department of International Education of Sumy State University, took part in the classes, she outlined the issue of forming an academic culture of the staff of SSU which manifests in the culture of intellectual labor, ethical culture, the culture of academic reading and writing, academic communication.
