    Online classes on the course «Researcher’s academic culture: European and national experience»

    On April 9, 2020 the online classes on the course «Researcher’s Academic Culture: European and National Experience» were organized by doctor of pedagogical sciences, prof. Semenog Olena Mykolayivna.

    The topics of the webinars «Academic culture and ethics in higher education: European, national and institutional dimensions», «Conceptual foundations for the formation of academic culture» corresponded to the project of Jean Monnet Module «Europeanization of Doctoral Studies in the Field of Education: Interdisciplinary and Inclusive Approaches» (№ 600071-EPP-1-2018-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE/ Erasmus + Programme Jean Monnet Activities Project). 

    The following issues were considered: the problems of scientific integrity in the modern scientific environment: world, European and national experience; moral and ethical values of a researcher: professional duty, social responsibility, academic honor, respect for another person; ethical principles of a teacher-researcher in the implementation of academic communication on a subject-subject, humanistic basis; academic codes of values.

    The workshop was attended by:

    • Sbruieva A. A., doctor of pedagogical sciences, a coordinator Erasmus+ Programme Jean Monnet Activities Project «Europeanization of Doctoral Studies in the Field of Education: Interdisciplinary and Inclusive Approaches» who focused on explaining how to operate Erasmus + project teams in accordance with the recommendations of the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency, the European Commission (EACEA), the possibility of changing the form of distance learning in terms of quarantine.
    • Yachmenyk M.M., Ph.D., a head of the Center for Quality Assurance in Higher Education of Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko who outlined the range of the tasks of the center to provide quality educational services at the university and ensure the principle of academic integrity.
    • Nadutenko M. V., candidate of philological sciences, a researcher of the Department of Linguistics of the Ukrainian Language and Information Fund of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, a Head of the All-Ukrainian Center for Dictionary, reviewed the national linguistic resources of the Ukrainian Language and Information Fund of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the specifics of their use in order to form an academic culture.
