On May 15, 2020 lecture 6 under the title «Linguo-personology. The culture of scientific mentoring» was conducted to the postgraduate students of the specialties «Educational, pedagogical sciences», «Professional education». The classes took place on the ZOOM platform.
The purpose of the lecture was to promote students’ understanding of the practice of mentoring, mentoring as a social institution of adaptation, linguo-personology of the scientific mentor, the formation of the project of culture of scientific partnership.
On May 15, 2020 workshop number 6 on «Linguo-personology. The culture of scientific mentoring» was held. The workshop took place on the ZOOM platform. The postgraduate students took part in the discussion: the practice of mentoring or mentoring as a social institution of adaptation; linguo-personology of the research mentor; culture of scientific partnership. Within the classes the essence of the concepts of «academic language personality», «scientific mentor idiostyle», the functions of language behavior of the scientific mentor, the specifics of scientific dialogue were outlined.
It should be noted that the class was preceded on the same day by the participation of the postgraduate students in a section meeting of the III International Scientific and Practical Conference «ACADEMIC CULTURE OF THE RESEARCHER IN THE EDUCATIONAL SPACE: EUROPEAN AND NATIONAL EXPERIENCE». The conference was held in a ZOOM format. More than eighty participants discussed the following issues: innovations in doctoral training; academic culture and ethics in higher education: European, national dimensions; academic communication; mentoring culture; academic language personality; formation of the foundations of academic culture in general secondary education institutions and institutions of higher education; current research problems in the field of linguistics and linguomethodic, literary studies, art history, social communications; vocational education and adult education.
The postgraduate students and the undergraduates discussed the project «Spelling readings: on the way to the unity of the country».
