III All-Ukrainian Scientific-Practical Seminar «Comparative Studies in Pedagogical and Adult Education»

On December 18, 2019 Third All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Seminar «Comparative Studies in Pedagogical and Adult Education» was held at Ivan Ziaziun Institute of Pedagogical and Adult Education NAES of Ukraine (Kyiv) and SSPU named after A.S. Makarenko (Sumy), which was jointly organized by the Chair of Pedagogy of SSPU and the Department of Foreign Systems of Pedagogical and Adult Education of Ivan Ziaziun Institute of Pedagogical and Adult Education. The following sections were part of the seminar at Ivan Ziaziun Institute of Pedagogical and Adult Education NAES of Ukraine: «Adult Education Development: Global and National Dimensions», «Europeanization of Doctoral Training in the Theory of Education: Jean Monnet Module Project Experience at the Institute of Pedagogy of NAES of Ukraine and SSPU named after A.S. Makarenko», «Teacher training in domestic and international space», «Educational reforms and innovations in a globalized world».

The participants of Jean Monnet Module projects at SSPU named after A.S. Makarenko and the Institute of Pedagogy of NAES of Ukraine are meeting for the second time within the framework of the program of this seminar to discuss the experience of implementing the projects carried out in doctoral programs in the specialty «Educational, Pedagogical Sciences». These discussions serve mutual enrichment and exchange of experience of the projects Erasmus +.

«Open the Opportunities with Erasmus +!»

On December 16-18, 2019 there was a series of measures to present the program Erasmus + at the training classes of the lecturers of the Chair of Pedagogy Osmuk N.G., Chernyakova Z., Chistyakova I.A., Boychenko M.A., Krivonos O.B., Bykova M.M., Protsenko I.I..The classes of Associate professor of pedagogy N.G. Osmuk «Open the Opportunities with Erasmus +!» with the students of 0031 group of Educational and Scientific Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology are presented in the following photo album.

The participant of the programme Erasmus + Jean Monnet module Associate professor of pedagogy Zhanna Chernyakova informed the students of 921 group of Educational and Scientific Institute Physical Culture of about the opportunities to participate in Erasmus + grant programs. The information materials sent by the Erasmus + Office in Ukraine in order to promote European studies have been given to the students.

Meeting of the Scientific Council of the University

On December 13, 2019 the meeting of the scientific council of the University was held, at which the members of the scientific community in particular the lecturers, scientists, students, administration of scientific activity were widely represented. The meeting had a festive character, as it was devoted to the 95-th anniversary of the University. Professor A.A. Sbruieva presented a report on the development of the pedagogical school of Comparative Studies at the SSPU named after A.S. Makarenko at the meeting.

In her report professor A.A. Sbruieva, who is the coordinator of the Erasmus + Jean Monnet module, informed the participants about the opportunities to participate in Erasmus + grant programs and announced the progress of the project she heads. The participants of the meeting were given information materials sent by the Erasmus + Office in Ukraine in order to promote European studies, in general the opportunities for the university community to participate in Erasmus + managed programs.

Report on Scientific School and Grant Activity at SSPU named after A.S. Makarenko

The Round Table Discussion «Approaching the EU through high standards in education and scientific researches. Adherence to professional and scientific ethics in the European scientific educational space»

On December 3, 2019 the round table discussion «Approaching the EU through high standards in education and scientific researches. Adherence to professional and scientific ethics in the European scientific educational space» in the context of the project Jean Monnet Module for the postgraduate students took place. The constructive discussion among the postgraduate students was held in order to discourse the issues identified in the round table program. The postgraduate students offered presentations of their own scientific and pedagogical research on the particular topic and reports prepared in the English language. The first experience of public speaking caused positive emotions and satisfaction from the performed independent work. The postgraduate students unanimously expressed the importance of dissemination of European integrity and academic norms in scientific works as well as adherence to professional and scientific ethics in the European scientific educational space.

Adherence to professional and scientific ethics in the European scientific educational space» in the context of the project Jean Monnet Module for the postgraduate students will be held December, 3 at 17.30 (Room 218, the central building). Free entrance. Graduate and postgraduate students, applicants, teachers are invited.
