On October 12 and 13, 2018, the defence of candidate dissertations in the field of comparative pedagogy took place in Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko, which provided opportunities for young researchers to get a wonderful experience presenting their own research in the professional audience.
On October 10, 2018, a public lecture of prof. Semenog O.M. «Academic Culture of the Researcher in the Educational Space of the University: Lingua-Axiological Aspect» was held for the undergraduate students at the Faculty of Foreign and Slavic Philology of the University.
The actuality of the topic of the lecture is to expand the system of knowledge on academic ethics; the culture of academic writing, academic communication, the formation of cognitive-discursive skills of operational processing and modeling scientific texts of different genres; professional language-communicative skills of the dialogue with the wide scientific community, in particular within the framework of an interdisciplinary expert environment, in the process of presentation of materials and results of scientific research.
Within the framework of the EU Erasmus + Jean Monnet Program the project Jean Monnet Module «Europeanization of doctoral studies in the field of education: interdisciplinary and inclusive approaches» was presented to the postgraduate students of the 2-nd year of Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko.
On September 27, 2018, the project coordinator prof. Sbruieva A.A. reported on the status of the project Jean Monnet Module at the meeting of the educational and methodical commission of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.
On September 22, 2018 within the framework of the Erasmus + Jean Monnet Module «Europeanization of doctoral studies in the field of education: interdisciplinary and inclusive approaches» prof. Semenog O.M. conducted the training on the basics of academic culture for the scientific leaders of the students of MAN, section «The Ukrainian language». The following issues were discussed: the scientific language culture of the researcher, academic integrity, the culture of scientific mentoring.
