On September 29, 2020 practical classes were devoted to the transfer and exchange of scientific information based on reading scientific texts on the specialty. The postgraduate students watched the video in English with further discussion with partners and making up an extended plan. They learned useful phrases and vocabulary of effective academic writing. The postgraduate students participated in discussions on research topic and participation in future international conferences

On September 26, 2020 a scientific seminar was held at the University, which summed up the work on the dissertation of the active participant of the project Jean Monnet Module Parkhomenko Iryny.

The topic of the dissertation work of the postgraduate student I.  Parkhomenko is «Development of historical and local lore work in out-of-school educational institutions of North-Eastern Ukraine (the second half of the XX-th and the beginning of the XXI-st century)». The supervisor is Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Bugriy V.S.

The participants of the seminar have noted the significant scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance of the dissertation. It is important that the professional activity of the postgraduate student is directly related to the topic of scientific work and corresponds to scientific issues, on which the supervisor specializes, which serves, to a large extent, as a guarantee of deep awareness of the problem and the quality of the dissertation.

Participation in Jean Monnet Module project has allowed the postgraduate student to acquire a system of knowledge on the methodology of scientific and pedagogical research that corresponds to European standards.

On September 22, 2020  we were looking forward to meeting the postgraduate students of the second year of study of the specialty 011 Educational, pedagogical sciences (field of knowledge 01 - Education/Pedagogy) in the course «Academic Writing». The first lecture «Academic writing. Critical Approaches to Reading and Writing» was conducted using multimedia tools.  The postgraduate students were invited to watch the video in English, to discuss with partners and identify key features of effective academic writing.

The first seminar was devoted to the discussion of personal and professional identification, in particular, oral and written description of life experience, scientific activity, learning experience. The postgraduate students worked in groups with partners, discussed the issues and performed practical tasks in a written form.

We continue to summarize the four-year work of the educational and scientific program on Educational, Pedagogical Sciences.

On September 18, 2020 a brilliant defence of the dissertation on the topic «Formation of speech competence of future junior specialists in journalism in the process of professional training» by Ponomarenko N., a project participant of Jean Monnet Module on the specialty 011 «Educational, pedagogical sciences» took place.
