On September 30, 2020 the postgraduate students and lecturers, the participants of Jean Monnet Module project took part in a round table discussion organized as a part of the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical seminar «Pedagogy of V.O. Sukhomlinsky: dialogue with modernity».
Anastasia Panchenko, a postgraduate student of the first year of study, made a report on the problems of civic education in the heritage of V.O. Sukhomlinsky. We emphasize that Anastasia Panchenko began to conduct her research on the formation of civic competence of schoolchildren in the European Union. We believe that it is important to study the origins of modern approaches to the formation of civic competence, which is one of the priorities of the reform of the «New Ukrainian School».
A project coordinator prof. Alina Sbruieva has presented a report on «Scientific Sukhomlinsky dynasty in the pedagogical science of Ukraine», in which she told about her own experience of scientific communication with the daughter of Vasyl Oleksandrovych Sukhomlynsky – Academician of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine Olga Vasylivna Sukhomlynska.
