On June 29, 2021 the postgraduate students reported on the implementation of the annual plan of the educational and scientific program. The issues of efficiency of the educational process were discussed; the achievements of the postgraduate students in fulfilling the tasks of publishing research results in professional scientific journals, approbation of the materials and results of work at representative scientific conferences were clarified.
The members of the chair stated that during the 2020-21 academic year, all postgraduate students successfully completed the tasks of the program. Some postgraduate students passed scientific seminars ahead of schedule and defended their dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. Among such postgraduate students are:

The topic of the dissertation is «Development of historical and local lore work in out-of-school educational institutions of North-Eastern Ukraine (second half of the XX and beginning of the XXI century)». Dikhnych K.V. The topic of the dissertation is «Professional training of future primary school teachers in the process of pedagogical practice» (Scientific supervisor is Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Prof. Semenog O.M.);
Zhang Lianhong. The topic of the dissertation is «Organizational and pedagogical foundations of professional training of vocalists in the system of higher music education in China and Ukraine». (Scientific supervisor is Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Chistiakova I.A.);

On June 25, 2021 the dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy of the participant of the Jean Monnet Module Van Boyuan on the topic «Organizational and pedagogical foundations of training pianists-performers in art institutions of higher education in China and Ukraine» took place.

The aim of the work is to clarify the theoretical and organizational and methodical foundations of training pianists-performers in art institutions of higher education in China and Ukraine.
The scientific novelty and theoretical significance of the study lies in the fact that for the first time in Ukrainian pedagogical science a comprehensive scientific study of certain issues has been carried out and the organizational and pedagogical foundations of training pianists-performers in art institutions of higher education institutions of China and Ukraine have been fully clarified.
Within the characteristics of theoretical foundations of the studied phenomenon methodological basis of training piano-performers in art institutions of higher education of China and Ukraine have been revealed and the stages of the development of training of pianists-performers in art institutions of higher education of China and Ukraine have been singled out. The content of training of pianists-performers in art institutions of higher education of China and Ukraine has been covered. The forms, methods and technologies of training pianists-performers in art institutions of higher education of China and Ukraine have been defined. The leading directions of improvement of training of pianists-performers in art institutions of higher education of China and Ukraine are revealed.
The practical significance is determined by the fact that the generalized provisions on the methodological foundations of art higher education, the historical development of piano schools in China and Ukraine, the content, forms, methods and technologies of training pianists-performers in art institutions of higher education in China and Ukraine can be used in the formation of educational policy in the field of higher art education, development of methodical support for this process, conducting lectures, seminars and practical classes for students, undergraduates and postgraduate students of art institutions of higher education.
The prognostic potential of the conducted research is conditioned by the possibility of using the obtained results for further research work in this direction in the process of modernization of the Chinese and Ukrainian systems of higher art education.
